sipped on her beer as he told his story. It was completely random but it was kind of funny. She always envied people who had siblings since she didn't have any. When he asked for her to share something she thought for a moment with pursed lips. "Okay, so I'm an only child. I can't remember if I told you this but I came here when I was sent here when I was 8 to live with my uncle and his wife. They raised me and are basically my parents. And since they never had kids, it was still just me. I've always been jealous of people with siblings."
Chris: nodded as he listened to her talk, parts of what she said sounded familiar like what age she came to this country but he didn't know she was raised by her uncle and wife. He shook his head at her, "I don't know why you'd be jealous" Chris had always had a positive relationship with his brother, of course it had it up and downs but that was normal with siblings. Truth be told, he resented him a little, he always felt like he was in his older brother's shadow but he tried to not let that show. "I'm kidding, my brother is good people. If you met him, you'd think so." His words just slipped out, Chris had never mentioned to a girl before about meeting his brother. Turning a little pink in the cheeks at this, he took a long drink from his bottle.
took the drink from him and practically finished it in two seconds. She meant it when she wanted to get wasted and have a good time. The shot was no problem from her and like Chris, she scrunched up her nose at the slight burn she felt while it was going down. Her eyes scanned the area and found an empty recliner for them. With a nod she poured two beers and led him over to the chair before sitting on the armrest, resting her legs on his lap. "I want to know more about you."
Chris: let himself be lead to the chair, before taking a beer from Zoe. Narrowing his eyes at her, he started, "Well...", Taking a sip from his beer he though about a story he could tell her. "When I was little my brother flushed my head down the toilet once because I had a, and I quote 'special' piece of lego." He let out a chuckle at his memory. It might have not been the type of thing Zoe wanted to hear but he didn't want to have a deep conversation, he wanted to keep it light. "Now you tell me something about you."
turned her head and raised an eyebrow at the girl behind her and felt satisfied when she left. She resisted rolling her eyes when she saw Chris smirking because nothing made a guy feel better than a girl being catty over him. "Thank you Chris. And this beautiful lady would love a drink. And a shot. I plan to have a great time tonight, try not to disappoint me. It would be such a let down."
Chris: shook his head slightly, "Don't worry you won't be disappointed." He passed her a drink so she would have something to drink whilst he poured two shots, one for him and one for her. Passing her a shot, he debated whether or not to do some sort of toast. Deciding not to, since he didn't want to appear cheesy, he took his shot, wrinkling his nose a little at the taste and asked whilst gesturing to the house, "So where do you want to start?"
had been craving a good party for a while but she just hadn't been free lately. It was either homework, her friend or her boyfriend Jack keeping her busy. As the cab pulled up to where the party was she grinned happily and jumped out quickly, tucking her phone into her bra that peaked out a little bit from her loose tank top. When she got inside she scoped the place out and didn't see Chris anywhere. "Probably isn't here yet," she mumbled to herself, walking over to where the drinks were and paused at the sight she saw. It wasn't exactly jealousy she felt seeing another girl with Chris but it wasn't nothing either. Without thinking about her actions she walked up to them with a grin and shoved her way in between the two of them and laid a kiss on his cheek with a wink. "You can get lost now, he was waiting for me. Hey handsome."
Chris: couldn't help the large grin that spread across his face at the appearance of Zoe and how she acted. It seemed to Chris as if she was jealous which was partly his intention when he started speaking to the blonde girl who was looking at him eye wide, confused whilst he just shrugged. Muttering "whatever" under her breath she finally left. Turning to Zoe, a smirk still plastered on his face, "Well don't you look nice," he said. "Can I get the beautiful lady a drink?" he asked before finishing his own in a hurry.
hadn't been at the party all that long yet he was a little restless waiting for Zoe to turn up. He wouldn't usually be like this; he would be enjoying his time by dancing and drinking but all he could think of was the girl he waited for. He had even situated himself near to the door so he'd know when she'd arrive. After a few nudges from his friends he got himself a drink and to distract himself he found a petite blonde girl to talk to, after all she was his type. She was nice to talk to but that was it.
That could work. Looking forward to it
Chris: Me too, see you later :)
I like specifics, sweets
Chris: How about you make sure you come to the party and I'll show you there?
I am pretty hot, so
Zoe: Oh really? More than friends how?
Chris: There's not denying that.
Chris: Do I really need to spell it out for you?
Really? Why is that hot?
Zoe: Well good, at least you did learn. So the other day when you said that we wouldn't be friends or something like that, what did you mean?
Chris: Because girls in shorts and crop tops with glitter just sound hot.
Chris: I meant that I have a feeling that we'll be more than friends.
I'm being completely serious.
Zoe: I've always known not to get mixed up with that kind of thing
Chris: Well that's kind of hot not going to lie. I really should check out music festivals more often.
Chris: Now I know that took me a while to learn. I used to be such an idiot I swear.
